When I was a teenager, I honestly thought that delivering Christmas cards was an old fashioned custom which almost nobody my age was ever doing. My thoughts on that have changed and so I post Christmas cards to everyone in my address book. It’s really a lot of fun to keep in contact this way and receive cards in the mail and it’s also an enjoyable way to remain in contact with friends and family who I probably would not manage to see at other times.
I also realised that Christmas cards may be a collectors item so I am looking into collecting rare Christmas cards. I keep any unusual cards I see during the holiday season but also look online for Christmas cards. They are available at any time and a fun way to find them is at auction.
